Estate Planning

A clear plan for your assets, your care, and the people who matter most.

We create estate plans around your family and wishes, including planning for minor children, beneficiaries with special needs, and the people you trust to act for you.

A comprehensive plan

Make the trust work

A signed trust alone does not avoid probate. Properly funding it—by transferring appropriate assets into it—is essential. We assist with real estate transfer documents and explain the remaining funding steps.

Updates and focused assistance

We also assist with trust amendments and restatements, special needs planning, and trust-related deeds. During your consultation, we discuss what fits your circumstances and the anticipated fees.

What the first conversation covers

We discuss your family, how you own your assets, any existing plan, and whom you would trust to manage financial and healthcare decisions. David then explains the recommended documents, funding steps, scope, and anticipated fees.

What to have available

A general list of your assets, current deeds, and any existing will or trust are helpful. You do not need to send financial account numbers or sensitive records with your initial inquiry.

Common questions

I already have a trust. Can you review or update it?

Yes. David reviews the existing documents and changes in your family, wishes, and assets to discuss whether an amendment, restatement, or other update is appropriate.

Does creating a trust automatically transfer my home?

No. Trust documents and asset ownership need to work together. We discuss appropriate deeds and other funding steps so you understand what still needs to be done.

Can we arrange a home or office signing?

Home and office signing appointments are available. We discuss arrangements during the consultation.

We handle nonlitigation, undisputed matters only.
